In May 1945, counterintelligence colonel Gorbushin handed a box with Adolf Hitler’s teeth to Russian translator Elena Rzhevskaya . It was necessary to determine the authenticity of the charred remains. “... we don’t have a safe here,” Gorbushin said, “and being a woman, you are less likely than a man to get drunk and lose them.” Quete Goiserman (assistant professor Blaschke) helped identify the teeth and dentures of Hitler to prove the death of Führer and Reich Chancellor of the German People. Now the artifacts are stored in the Central Archive of the FSB of Russia. In July 2017, the FSB issued French scientists a permit to examine Hitler’s teeth. The study confirmed the authenticity and published the results in the European Journal of Internal Medicine.
